At IEPI, we engage in collaborative scholarship that addresses complex ethics and policy challenges in global health research. We engage in interdisciplinary thinking needed to generate practical solutions for the global health community.

Four research themes have emerged from our ongoing work with partners in global health. In these four pillars of research, we undertake deep analyses across many perspectives — from philosophical, anthropological, and sociological to environmental, legal, and scientific.

In all four pillars, we work to promote equity, diversity, and social justice, in alignment with McMaster University’s commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
